Instituto Matatena, represented by Emilia Yáñez Reynoso—operating under the trade name Instituto Matatena—with address in Tomatlán, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for protecting the privacy of your personal data in accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) in Mexico.

To get the "game" started, we collect the following information:

Image Use: Photographs and videos taken during lessons for promotional use on our social media (subject to your prior verbal consent).

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
Enrollment and academic management of your Spanish courses.
Secure payment processing via Stripe.
Ensuring your well-being within our facilities and activities (health/allergy awareness).
Sending you updates regarding your progress and "game board" developments at Matatena.
4. Third-Party Transfers
We do not sell your data. We only share your information with trusted third-party platforms strictly necessary for our operations: Stripe (payments), Calendly/Google (scheduling), and, if applicable, accommodation or tour providers specifically requested by the student.
5. Your Privacy Rights (ARCO Rights)
Under Mexican law, you have the right to Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (ARCO Rights) regarding your personal data. To exercise these rights, please send an email to institutomatatena@gmail.com. We will respond to your request within a maximum of 20 business days.
6. Security
We implement administrative and technical security measures (such as SSL encryption on forms and Stripe) to prevent the theft, loss or alteration of your personal information. Additionally, your financial information (credit or debit card details) is never stored on our servers. All payment transactions are processed in a secure, encrypted environment through Stripe's global infrastructure.
